Windsurfing: Shoreham Wind Direction: WSW Wind Stength: F5-6 Surf / Sea State: Chest high Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Max Speed: Distance Covered:
Arrived at Shoreham at 3:15, only 4-5 others out there. Looking good, so
rigged 5.0m on RWW83. Lovely combo. No shorebreak, groomed flat from the
beach, side shore wind, and line upon line of ever increasing steep ramps.
It was a jump fest!! Plenty of ok wave riding available too, had some sweet
rides, connecting 6 or 7 south coast 'bottom turns' on one cracker.
Generally, a fairly slow wave, but you could get a swoop and a thwack
before it closed out a bit. Wind got stronger later and I changed to the
4.5m for superb speed, control, blasting, jumping and riding. Pushed the
light factor and came off the water at 4:40pm. woo hoo.
